Events & Group Rides

GPTR has a long history of bringing dirtbike riders together in the Ganaraska Forest. While organized, large-scale events are currently limited due to ongoing forest management constraints, community connection remains a core part of the club. Today, GPTR focuses on informal group rides, shared communication, and keeping members connected and informed.

Group Rides

Group rides continue to take place on an informal basis throughout the season, coordinated by members and shared within the GPTR members-only WhatsApp group. Access to the group is available after membership registration and serves as the primary place for ride coordination and community connection.

Though current rides are currently arranged for dirtbike riders, we hope to expand to other trail user groups as the club grows.

Please note: GPTR membership does not include a Ganaraska Forest trail pass. A valid GRCA membership or day pass is required to ride in the forest and must be obtained directly through the Ganaraska Region Conservation Authority before heading out.

Upcoming Meetings

GPTR shares information about upcoming meetings and opportunities to stay involved as details are confirmed. More meetings and public engagement opportunities may be added as they arise.

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Date: Winter Annually
Location: TBD

The AGM is an opportunity to hear updates, ask questions, and stay informed about current issues affecting the Ganaraska Forest. All members are encouraged to attend, and additional details will be shared closer to the date.

Ride With Us

As access and management issues are resolved, GPTR hopes to once again support more formal events and organized rides within the forest. In the meantime, the best way to stay connected, ride with others, and be part of the community is through membership.
